It’s a brand new Monday, and this means another week of work! What could you do in your routine to make this week more productive without having to make big changes or sacrifices? Here are some things for you to consider incorporating into your life this week, try it!
- Prioritize! Write down clear goals and order them based on importance and deadline. Organize the tasks and assign the time you want to take to complete them and meticulously work your way down the list.
- Connect! If you’re at work – it’s likely that you have colleagues working around you too. Set aside some time to connect with your colleagues and team members to see if anyone needs any help. A little help goes a long way, and gets everyone’s work done right!
- Pace Yourself! We know, it’s a Monday and you have abundant energy. But going out too hard at the beginning of the week makes you burn out towards the end resulting in you getting less done. Pace yourself, assess where you are mid-week. Take some time in between to rejuvenate yourself and end the week well!
- Complete it! Striving for perfection at work is great, but aiming for perfection takes up too much effort and time. Start by focusing on getting the task at hand done – use a later time to go back to it and tweak it to make it better. Splitting the tasks this way ensures you’re not overly obsessing over something completely unnecessary and ensures better use of your time.
- Be Positive! A little bit of enthusiasm goes a long way. Not only is enthusiasm infectious and can boost people’s moods around you, it will also result in you doing the task better because you are energized.
